This is my first job since leaving school at the age of 21. I was born with Downes Syndrome, and love to take part in lots of sports including running. I have represented Macau in the Special Olympics, and enjoy travelling to other countries to compete in organised sports events. This is good practice for my office job as they have me running around most of the day
People with good taste
I eventually moved back to Macau where I grew up after spending years abroad in USA, and joined JML in 2012. Generally I am the outgoing cheerful type who enjoys meeting people, and as my job brings me into contact with lots of people from all over the world, it hardly feels like work at all. I try to stay in shape by being active and participating in soccer matches and games of badminton, and my favourite pastime is dining with friends, and enjoying some good wine & whisky

Lazy People & Lateness
I joined JML in 2011 having previously worked in Sales in the UK. I have two children who manage to keep me very busy. I like to exercise by trail running, circuit training and ‘boxing’ (for fitness). I love to read and my book or kindle are never far away from me, nor is the large glass of wine that goes so well with reading!

One half of my family is Asian and the other European, so I am widely considered ‘Macanese’. Language at home was always a mixture of Cantonese, English, Portuguese and Thai. I have been working with JML since 2012, and when I am not in the office I like to Travel and of course shop. My mother is a great Chef, I love eating anything that she has cooked which of course means keeping an eye on my waistline.

When JML started in 1994 it was the interior design and renovation process that got us really excited initially, and the company grew as clients referred their friends and asked for more services. When I’m not working I love walking our dogs on the trails on Coloane, exploring new places and indulging myself in my hobby of photography.

I have been involved in JML as a property investor since 2003 and as Managing Director since 2008. Apart from investing, other interests include Running, Mountain Biking, Adventure Racing and Golf…………even though I might be considered too old for all of these activities except the last one. I like to read and listen to audiobooks.

My husband and I first moved to Macau in 1998 when it was a little more ‘sleepy’ than it is today. It was supposed to be a short term thing, but here we are 17 years later and still enjoying the much transformed Macau that you can see today. I enjoy gardening, although this is of course limited in Macau, as well as cooking and good food. Most of my time outside of JML is spent with charitable causes, and there are many worthy causes in Macau.
